The club’s first team currently plays in SAB Regional League, with the reserves team playing Kouga 1st Division, and we also have under 15 Division.
The team plays it’s home games in Humansdorp Stadium, known as Standard Bank Stadium.
HISTORY. The Club was founded on the 27th of July 2020, and the team bought a Premier League status but did not play on that league as it bought another status from Peace Lovers FC of St Francis Bay, SAB Regional League status.
on the first season of 2021 we were position 6, with 17 points and in 2021/22 season we were in position 6 again with 22 points.
On the Easter Tournament of 2022, we played very well and it was our first tournament and we finished as Runners -Up.
FEEDER TEAMS, we want feeder teams in Koukamma Municipality, and another feeder team in Hankey, Centerton Location. Those feeder teams must be in our Umbrella.
OWNERSHIP, Rising Stars Football Club is wholly owned by Kwanomzamo Sport Foundation, founded by Mongezi Norman Khatshiwe. The Foubdation is registered as an NPO. Rising Stars is funded by the Foundation and Business people in terms of transportation, catering for players. Also Management is assisting financially.
On the club’s establishment, it was announced that it intended to use Lungiso High School training grounds but as the ground was not yet up to standard, the club announced that it would use the open space which was the farm behind Vergenoeg.
